Speaking on how the nation could consolidate on the success recorded a policy consultant and a trainer, Dr folarin Olowu said there was the need for all inclusive shared responsibilities and the need for the nation to leverage on the initiative of National Health Insurance Scheme by enlarging the pool of beneficiaries thereby providing robust financial base for funding of health programme including HIV-Aids
“If you have a wider pool of Nigerians who enrolled in National Health Insurance, that is where the bulk of the money should come from and the way to go is to get the health insurance scheme operational” Dr Folarin however said people infected with HIV-Aids should also be prepared for user fee in the nearest future to manage their health as funding climate is changing and resources shrinking yearly from donor agencies
